This programmer, levering in the existing network of hospitals related to the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan, and on the expertise of RAFT (Geneva University Hospital) in developing distance education and tele expertise activities in developing countries, aims at improving the ability for BPKIHS to remotely support, train and supervise care professions active in district-level hospital and in primary healthcare facilities.
